Blandford & District Angling Club recognises that risk management is essential to its governance and to the sustainable operation of its services. The Club accepts that it has a responsibility to manage risks effectively. Blandford & District Angling Club acknowledges that some risks can never be fully eliminated and this policy is intended to provide a structured, systematic and focused approach to managing risk.
The Risk Management Policy will ensure that all members, officers & volunteers are aware of what constitutes a ‘risk’, the process for identifying and reporting risks, the appropriate consideration, reporting and recording of risks, and that effective controls are in place either to manage and mitigate or to take advantage of those risks.
Blandford and District Angling Club (BDAC) hold no responsibility over any accidents or injuries that may occur to any angler or member of the public, including persons who gain access without consent.
Blandford and District Angling Club hold no responsibility over any loss or damage to any items of fishing tackle, personal property or vehicles.
